Ponytails are an easy way to keep hair out of your face. They work with practically any outfit and can be dressed up or down. Unfortunately, women with short bob hairstyles may think that they can't wear a ponytail, since their hair is so short. Although it requires a little more work, it is possible to put a ponytail in short bob hair, using hair accessories and tools that most women already have around.

Comb all the tangles out of your hair.

Slick some hair gel through the hair, especially in the front closer to the scalp.

Pull as much hair as you can into a ponytail at the back of the head and secure it tightly with a hair elastic.

Slide a bobby pin into the hair wherever it was too short to fit into the ponytail. Start at the front of the scalp and slide the bobby pin back, until the hair is secure. Use as many bobby pins as needed.

Spray it with hairspray to keep stray hairs in place.
