Hi, I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist, and today we're going to be talking about how to apply mascara to get really full lashes. When applying mascara, it's really important to get the right technique to get product on every single lash, no matter how small they are, to really give your eyes a full strip of lashes. I'm going to use a quick little trick I learned a long time ago using a simple business card on how to apply mascara through the entire lash line. Today I'm going to be using L'Oreal's Full Definition Voluminous Mascara. All you want to do is take the business card and kind of dent it a little bit, so it has a little circular shape to match your eyelid. You want to take the brush, load it with product, and you want to twirl, as opposed to pump, because that will actually dry out your mascara faster. So what you want to do is take the business card, get it all the way down to the lash line, and use it to sort of pick up your eyelid a little. I know it looks kind of funky but it works. And just take it and get really to the bottom of the root and that way, if you mess up, the product goes right onto the business card and not onto your eyelid. As you can see, it really allows you to get to the root of your lashes, working the product from the root to the tip of the hair. So now that I've finished the top lashes, I'm going to actually use the same technique on the bottom lashes. What you're going to do is do the same thing: take the business card, give it a little dent to match your eye shape. You want to go underneath your lashes, and that way you can use it to pull it down, and you want to turn your brush vertical and just do the same thing, and just apply the mascara from the root to the tip, allowing the product to work all the way through the hair without getting on your skin. And once you're done with the top lashes and the bottom lashes, you can use a simple mascara wand to sort of brush away any excess and really give it an even application. And that's a quick little tip on how to apply mascara to get really full lashes. I'm Jhizet Panosian, and thanks for watching.
