The Boppy is a pillow that is rounded and shaped like the letter C. It is designed to help prop infants who cannot yet support themselves. The Boppy pillow can also be used to support a baby while feeding her. The Boppy comes with a removable slipcover that can be laundered when it becomes soiled, but the pillow can easily become soiled as well. For this reason, it is important to know how to properly wash the entire Boppy.

Things You'll Need

  • Mild laundry detergent
  • Pillowcase
  • Sneaker or tennis ball

Video of the Day

Remove the slipcover from your Boppy. Put the slipcover and Boppy pillow in your washing machine.

Set your washing machine to the delicate cycle. Add a mild laundry detergent that is suitable for use with infants' garments.

Allow your washing machine to run its full cycle. When it is done, immediately put your Boppy and slipcover into your dryer.

Set your dryer to a low heat cycle. Put a clean sneaker or tennis ball into a pillowcase, tying a knot at the top so the item doesn't become loose. Put the pillowcase into the dryer with the Boppy and slipcover. This will help your Boppy maintain its shape.

Allow your Boppy and slipcover to dry completely. Remove both items from the dryer and put the slipcover back on the pillow.
