Remove all food products from your refrigerator. Throw out any spoiled or unusable items.
Mix a solution of half warm water and half vinegar in the sink or a large bowl.
Wash down the inside of the refrigerator, including the walls and shelves, with a sponge or wash cloth dipped in the vinegar solution.
Pour baking soda onto the sponge or wash cloth and scrub any stains or dried food particles. For stubborn stains, add 100-percent vinegar to the sponge or wash cloth.
Rinse out the sponge or wash cloth with water and wash out the inside of the refrigerator, paying particular attention to the areas with baking soda.
Use a dry towel to dry out the inside of refrigerator.
