Mewtwo is a generation 1 Pokemon. It is a clone of Mew, which scientists created to be powerful. Mewtwo has made appearances in several Pokemon movies, animes, games and manga. Use origami, the art of paper folding, to make Mewtwo, or at least his head. Mewtwo is a beginner design for kids with little to no origami experience. Since Mewtwo is purple in color, use purple paper to make the design.
Things You'll Need
- Square paper
Turn the square so it becomes a diamond shape. Fold the diamond in half so that the left point touches the right point and then unfold.
Fold the diamond in half so the top point touches the bottom point. You now have a triangle shape that is upside down.
Fold the right point down so it touches the bottom point. Repeat with the left point. You now have a diamond shape. There are two layers with a diamond shape on the bottom and two triangles on top.
Fold the right triangle in half so that the bottom point sticks out from the upper right side of the entire diamond shape. Repeat with the left triangle so that the point sticks out to the left side. You just made Mewtwo's ears.
Turn the paper over so that the ears are in the back, sticking out from behind.
Fold the bottom point up so that it touches the crease line in the middle. Fold the bottom point so it is a little more than halfway up the line. The halfway point is located between the left and right points.
Fold the bottom point 3/4 of the way down. This creates a pleat and the "nose" will point down but will pop out a little like an accordian.
Fold the right tip to the back and repeat with the left tip, folding just a little bit of the tips. Repeat with the tip of the nose, both ears and the top of the head.
Draw angry eyes on the front to finish Mewtwo's face.
