A pork tenderloin is a versatile and easy-to-prepare cut of meat that can be the centerpiece for a dinner party or a weeknight family meal. Add a simple sauce made with the pan drippings or serve the tender slices with roasted vegetables. Roasted simply to the correct temperature, a pork tenderloin is juicy every time.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 3-pound pork tenderloin
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Roasting pan
  • Bowl
  • Meat thermometer

Video of the Day

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a bowl, mix the salt and pepper, olive oil and rosemary. Place the pork in a roasting pan and generously rub the seasoning mixture over the meat.

Place the pan in the oven and roast for 10 minutes.

Flip the roast over and continue cooking until it reaches an internal temperature of 155 degrees Fahrenheit, about 10 minutes.

Take the roast out of the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
