How to Repel Beavers

Beavers are large rodents that damage trees and wood. They can also contaminate any outdoor water supply that they come into contact with. Before paying expensive professionals for their extermination services, try getting rid of the beavers on your own. There is a homemade beaver repellent remedy that will deter beavers from chewing wood on your property.

Things You'll Need

  • 6 cups coarse sand
  • 2-gallon bucket
  • 1 gallon indoor latex paint
  • Wooden mixing stick
  • Paint brush
