Most baby showers feature group games to bring together people who normally might not interact. The dirty diaper game is a fun shower game where the participants have to sniff (or taste) melted chocolate candy bars inside a baby's diaper and try to identify what the candy bar is.

Step 1

Purchase cloth diapers or make your own replicas out of squares of felt or white cloth.

Step 2

Use a marker to number all the diapers for as many different kinds of candy that you have. Keep track of the numbers on a master sheet. Use a permanent marker to write down the names of the candy bars you've used on a sheet of poster board. Write in large type as this is displayed at the shower for guests to see.

Step 3

Melt the candy bars. Unwrap the candy bars and place one each inside a cloth diaper. Microwave on medium power until the candy bar is halfway melted. Mash the candy in the diaper a little bit to take away any distinct shape and to add a little realism to the game.

Step 4

Pass out a piece of paper and a pen or pencil to everyone. On the left-hand side of the page, have them number 1 through however many diapers you have. Pass around the dirty diapers. Have each participant open and smell the diapers to see if they can guess which candy bar it is. Ask the guests to write down their guesses in correlation with the number on the diaper. The participant with the most correct answers wins.
