For more than 50 years Chex party mix has been a favorite party snack food. The mix can be cooked in the microwave or baked in the oven. If cooking in the microwave it takes only about 6 minutes, cooking on high and stirring every two minutes. The original recipe calls for cooking in the oven. The party mix should be stored in an air tight container.
