A well-cooked roast is something that I've tried to master most of my adult life. Along came my roaster oven, and now a perfect roast couldn't be easier. The roaster oven cooks consistently every time, and so easily! Follow along to start creating your own perfect roasts.
Things You'll Need
2 to 3 lb chuck roast
4 medium carrots, cut into 3-inch chunks
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks
2 onions, cut in wedges
Salt and pepper to taste
Perfect Pot Roast
Place rack in roaster oven. Preheat roaster oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly spray roaster oven and rack with cooking spray. Arrange meat and vegetables on rack. Sprinkle roast and vegetables with salt and pepper.
Cover roaster oven and roast contents for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 300 degrees. Roast for an additional 45 to 60 minutes.
Remove roast and vegetables to serving platter. Let roast rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Use a meat thermometer for more accurate roasting. Preheating is recommended.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Unplug roaster oven from outlet when not in use.
