Intex above ground pools are available in the Easy Set, Ultra Frame and Metal Frame styles. The purchase of a pool includes a pool ladder for safety in entering and exiting the pool. The pool heights range from 30 to 52 inches in height with the included ladder in the same height. Taller ladders include more rungs or steps to obtain their height, though all Intex pool ladders assemble in the same manner.

Step 2

Push the step mounting pins fully into each hole on each side of the steps. There are two holes on each leg per step.

Step 5

Place a U-shaped rail on top of each straight brace on the ladder. Insert a short fastener through the legs from the inside on each leg. Place a washer and nut on the exterior of each fastener and tighten them as in the previous step with a Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable wrench.

Step 6

Insert the remaining set of legs into the top straight brace holes. Fasten the legs with long fasteners, washers and bolts as you did on the first set of legs in Step 4.

Step 7

Place one set of legs in the pool with the other set of legs on the ground outside of the pool wall.

Tip

Press down on each step to ensure they are fastened tightly and do not turn when you mount the ladder.
