Slot machines are gambling devices where the game player pays to spin a set of reels and receives pay depending on the position of the reels when they stop spinning. Slot machines are the most popular game to play in typical casinos. Along with being the most popular game, they bring in the most revenue.
Step 1
Paint one outside face of the cardboard box completely white. This will form the background for other designs.

Step 2
Paint a black 1/2-inch border around the painted face of the cardboard box.
Step 3
Paint two vertical black lines that divide the painted side into three equally sized rectangles. These represent the viewing windows of the slot machine.
Step 4
Paint a vertical series of three different types of fruits in each viewing window. Many slot machines use images of fruit to determine the positions of the reels and the resulting payout.
Step 5
Paint a thin 1-inch vertical line on the face directly to the right of the painted one. This represents the coin slot.
Step 6
Paint the image of a black lever centered in the center of the right-hand side. Your cardboard slot machine is now complete.
