Step 2: Cut the Floral Wire

Cut floral wire using sharp scissors.

Cut a small piece of floral wire and set aside. This will be used later to hold your bow in place.

Step 3: Measure the Ribbon for the Bow

Keep in mind basket size when measuring the ribbon.

Measure your ribbon to the desired length, keeping in mind how big or small you want your bow.

Step 4: Make the Loop

Make the first loop for your bow.

Take the ribbon and pinch a loop together with your index finger and thumb. Leave some ribbon to make a tail.

Step 5: Twist the Ribbon and Make a Loop

It now looks like a bow.

Make another loop and pinch together with your index finger and thumb.

The more loops, the bigger the bow.

Repeat step 5 four more times to make a minimum of six loops. The more loops you make the larger your bow will be.

Step 7: Wrap the Floral Wire

The wire helps attach the bow to your basket.

Take the floral wire you cut earlier and wrap it around the center of your bow. Twist it together tight to hold the bow in place.

Step 8: Cut the Bow Tail

The tail can be as long as you want.

Cut your arranged ribbon from the spool at a diagonal for a finished bow.

Step 9: Attach the Bow to the Basket

Your gift basket if ready to fill.
