Things You'll Need
No. 9 cord
If you like using rosary beads when you pray and you want a small one to wear or carry with you, then a rosary bracelet would be ideal. You can substitute beads for knots on your rosary bracelet, but you will need a special tool and you will need to know how to make a "barrel knot." The 10 "decade" beads are all you need for a rosary bracelet because it should be shorter than a necklace.

Measure the circumference of your wrist or the wrist of the person you are making the rosary bracelet for. Multiply the wrist measurement by four and cut a piece of size 9 cord at this length.
Make a barrel knot about 6 inches away from one end. Wrap the cord around a "cord tool," which is used for cord rosary making, at a 45-degree angle once. Wrap it back around and wrap it diagonally in the other direction so that it forms an "X." Wrap the cord in the second direction four times and feed the end of the cord up through the tool and under the wrapped cord.
Slip the cord tool off of the wrapped cord and slide the the wrapped cord down so that it is about 1/2 inch away from the centerpiece. Pull the loose end of the cord while you hold the wrapped cord together to tighten it. Tighten the barrel knot until it is securely in one spot.
Measure about 1/2 inch away from the first barrel knot and repeat steps 2 and 3 to make nine more barrel knots 1/2 inch apart. These knots are in place of the beads you would use as the "decade beads."
Measure an inch away from the 10th barrel knot and wrap both ends of the cord—the end before the first barrel knot and the end after the last one—around the cord tool, diagonally in one direction. Wrap it back around so that it forms an "X" just like when you made a regular barrel bead. Pull both ends up through the cord tool; slip the cord tool off of the wrapped cord and tighten the knot. This larger barrel knots serves as the "centerpiece."
Tie a cross pendant at the end of the cord that is hanging down from the centerpiece knot. Your rosary bracelet is ready to wear, and you can adjust the size of the bracelet by pulling on the end.
