Step 1

Push the slide button forward as far as it will go, or three full stops if it is retracted. Press down on the slide button and push it slightly forward. When it clicks, the button will stay down.

Push the yellow button on the top of the knife. Put on work gloves. Pull the blade straight out while holding the yellow button down.

Push and hold the yellow button down while sliding the new blade into the knife. Push the blade all the way in until you feel it stop.

Step 4

Release the yellow button. Push in on the slide button and slide it all the way back to retract the blade.
