Clean Brazilian cherry floors with glass cleaner.

Brazilian cherry is an exotic type of wood flooring found in many homes and buildings. This dark, natural wood withstands a lifetime of normal wear and tear, and the Brazilian flooring is finished with a protective coating that makes it easy to clean and maintain. Many of those expensive wood floor cleaning products found in the grocery store leave an unattractive film behind after cleaning, so a more effective homemade cleaning solution will complete this cleaning job.

Step 2

Fill your sink or a cleaning bucket with nine parts warm water and one part glass cleaner.

Step 3

Dip a cleaning mop or towel into the solution. Squeeze out your mop or towel to get rid of excess moisture.

Step 4

Wipe the mop or towel across your wood flooring. If using a towel, and you do not feel like bending over to clean the flooring, place a broom on top of the towel, and push or pull the towel over the flooring.

Step 5

Rinse the towel with new cleaning solution as needed, and allow the cherry wood to air-dry when finished.
