Things You'll Need

  • ½ cup witch hazel

  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

  • 5 drops citronella essential oil

  • 5 drops lemongrass essential oil

  • Spray bottle

Step 1

Add ½ cup of witch hazel to a small spray bottle.

Step 2

Next add 5 drops each of lavender, citronella and lemongrass essential oils to the bottle.

Step 3

Replace the lid and shake well before each use.

Spray skin and clothes lightly with homemade bug spray. You might want to use your hands to rub it into your skin.
