Step 2

Make sure that there isn't a lot of room for the plate to jiggle or move around. Take some newspaper and bury the bottom of the box to create a cushion for the plate to lay in. Do not fill the box with too much newspaper. Leave just enough newspaper so that the plate can settle and not be moved around in the box.

Step 3

Wrap some tissue paper carefully around the plate. You may choose what kind of color that you would like to wrap the plate it. Wrap tissue paper around the plate several times so that it is well covered. Once your plate has been wrapped, slip it into a couple of small plastic shopping bags.

Step 4

Lay a small towel or a cloth on top of the newspapers in the box. Make sure that the cloth is big enough so that the entire plate can be covered.

Step 5

Set the wrapped plate on top of the towel or cloth and then cover it up. Close your box. Finish up by wrapping up your gift with some pretty wrapping or tissue paper. Add a bow for extra style.

Warning

Be careful with your plate as your wrap or place it in your box. It could easily break. Make sure that it does not jiggle inside of the box. Do not set the plate to tight into the box as well.
