This popular meal, which has gone viral on TikTok, calls for instant ramen, eggs and a tasty sauce that's both savory and sweet. You can even add your favorite veggies to customize the dish. Things You'll Need
1 package instant ramen
2 tablespoons butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 or 2 eggs
1 or 2 teaspoons furikake or everything bagel seasoning
Cooked vegetables (optional)
In a pot, cook the noodles without the seasoning according to the package directions. (You can use the seasoning in another dish if you'd like.) Drain and set aside.
In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add the soy sauce, brown sugar and red pepper flakes. Stir until the brown sugar dissolves and the mixture is thick.
Add the noodles to the skillet. Toss to coat them in the sauce.
In a separate, smaller bowl, whisk the egg(s).
Push the noodles to the side. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and then add the whisked egg(s).
Cook the eggs until scrambled and then chop them up and toss with the noodles.
Transfer the noodles to a bowl and top with furikake or everything bagel seasoning, scallions and optional vegetables. Enjoy!
