Step 1

Take the top off the ornament and set it aside. Pour a small amount of Glitter It into the top and swirl the liquid around slowly to cover the entire inside of the ornament. Once you get the liquid to the top, pour out the excess and tap it onto a paper towel to get as much out as possible.

Tip

Don't shake the liquid around, it will produce bubbles and cause the glitter to cluster.

Step 2

Place the funnel into the top of the ornament and pour in a decent amount of glitter.

Take the funnel out, cover the top with a paper towel and shake the glitter all around. Make sure the entire inside of the ornament is coated on all sides and then dump the excess glitter back to its container. The more glitter you use, the stronger the pigment will turn out. You really can't mess this up, so go crazy.

Tip

Using a highly pigmented glitter will give your ornaments a bold color. Using a more translucent glitter will give ornaments a see-through effect.

Step 3

Allow the ornaments to dry for a few hours or overnight and then place the tops back on. Add ribbon or hooks to ornaments and decorate as desired. These ornament turn out absolutely beautiful no matter what color you use. This is a great project for both adults and kids. Have fun!
