A Hercules Hook is removable and reusable.

Hercules Hooks are small metal objects that you can screw into the wall to hang photos or cabinets onto. Removing Hercules Hooks is a straightforward process for which you do not need to call an expert. If you plan to relocate some photos or paintings and you do not want to buy new hooks, simply remove the existing ones and use them on another wall. It takes only a few minutes, and you do not need any tools to carry out the task.

Step 2

Push the top and bottom metal parts of the hook together with your fingers and turn the hook 180 degrees upside down.

Step 3

Slowly pull the hook out while twisting it carefully to avoid damaging the wall or enlarge the hole in which the hook lies. Pull it until it is completely out of the wall.

Step 4

Put a small amount of plaster in the wall to cover up the hole in which the hook stayed.
