Velveeta Shells and Cheese, which is manufactured by Kraft Foods, is simple to prepare and makes a tasty side dish to a variety of meals. Serve the macaroni and cheese as an accompaniment to hamburgers, baked or grilled chicken and fried fish, among many other dishes. Add other ingredients, such as hot dog slices, broccoli or canned tuna to the macaroni and cheese to create a one-pot meal. You can also eat the macaroni and cheese alone as a lunch or snack.

  • Medium saucepan
  • Spoon
  • Pasta
  • Velveeta cheese sauce

Bring water to boil in a medium saucepan over high heat.

Pour the pasta shells into the water and boil, uncovered, for eight minutes. Stir the shells two or three times throughout the cooking process.

Drain the shells in a colander over a sink. Pour the pasta back into the saucepan.

Cut a slit in the top of the Velveeta cheese sauce packet using scissors. Squeeze the cheese onto the hot shells. Stir the ingredients together to thoroughly blend. Serve immediately.
