How to Clean a Revere Ware Copper Bottom

  • Dish detergent

  • Sponge

  • Nylon scouring pad

  • Towel

Revere has been manufacturing high-quality cookware for over 65 years. Revere Ware copper-bottom cookware provides even heat distribution and lightweight durability. Revere Ware's copper bottom is located on the outside of the pan to provide a pleasing aesthetic, and the inside corners are rounded to simplify cleanup. Gentle cleaning products and methods are necessary to avoid damage to the cookware and maintain its appearance.

Step 1

Fill a sink with hot water and add 1 to 2 tbsp. mild dish detergent.

Empty any leftover food from the Revere Ware copper-bottom cookware, and submerge the cooled cookware in the soapy water. If the cookware is very dirty, allow it to soak for five to 10 minutes.

Step 3

Clean the inside of the Revere Ware copper-bottom cookware with a sponge. If there's any stuck-on food or tough stains, scrub the cookware with a nylon scouring pad.

Step 4

Rinse the Revere Ware with water, and dry it thoroughly with a towel.

Tip

If the outside of your Revere Ware looks dull, restore its shine with a stainless steel polish.

Warning

Do not use steel wool or harsh abrasives on your Revere Ware copper-bottom cookware.
