Things You'll Need
Small bowl
2 lbs. top sirloin steak
2 tbsp. oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. syrup
1 tsp. pepper
Large skillet
Casserole dish
Resealable plastic bag

Top sirloin steak is one of the most tender cuts of meat you can cook. Allowing the meat to marinate will make the texture even more delicate and it will add flavor to kick up your dish by a few notches. Remember to bring the steak to room temperature before cooking so you will get the most tender meat possible and bring your skillet to a hot temperature before adding the meat. This will give it a crispy outside. Using these techniques will help ensure you have a tender top sirloin
Step 1
Mix oil, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, syrup and pepper in a small bowl. Pour the contents into a resealable plastic bag. Place the meat inside.

Step 3
Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and then leave them on the counter for 15 minutes to bring them to room temperature.
Step 4
Heat oil in the skillet on high heat.
Step 5
Put the steaks in the skillet and cook for 4 minutes on each side at medium-high heat. Pour the excess marinade from the bag into the skillet after you flip the steak and let the ingredients come to a simmer.
