Cooking or baking is easy and tastes delicious when using the Nuwave Infrared Oven. Just about anything you have ever cooked in your oven, or broiler can be cooked in the Nuwave Oven, faster and without standing over a hot stove. The room never gets hot, and once you set the timer, you just walk out of the room until the hear the sound of the bell. Cleanup is a breeze because almost everything can go into the dishwasher.

Step 1

Open the Dome to Remove or Turn over foods

Roast fresh poultry by washing it, seasoning to taste and placing it on the bottom rack. Look at the cooking guide that comes with the Nuwave and follow their suggested time to cook. Set the timer on the dome, hit cook and the rack spins until the timer stops it. Cooking anything frozen will take a only a little longer and will taste just as good when cooked.

Step 2

Cooking timer buttons

Broil using the rack in a higher or lower position, depending on the thickness. Read the timing instructions in the cooking guide, set the timer and click on start. The rack starts to spin, broils and shuts off when done or time to turn over. Food is juicy inside and tastes delicious.

Step 3

Bake in a metal pan or in an aluminum foil pan placed on the rack. Place vegetables or make a baked potato on the bottom, under the rack and a complete meal will be ready at the same time.

Step 4

Food broils on one side at a time. When the bell goes off, carefully open the hood, allowing the steam to escape, Use your tongs to turn over and broil the other side for the allotted time as suggested.

Tip

Remove the cover as soon as the bell goes off when roasting poultry. This will leave the skin crispy because the steam escapes. The heat remains inside the hood but the room remains cool.

Warning

Be careful when opening the cover. The hot steam escapes and can burn you. Use tongs and a hand mitt potholder when turning food over to cook on the other side.
