  • Mop

Besides being a natural cleaning agent, vinegar also helps to neutralize odors.

Mop and Glo is a multisurface floor cleaner that is safe for use on most types of flooring materials. However, if your laminate flooring has a high-gloss coating on it, Mop and Glo may begin to cause the surface to dull over time due to buildup. You can remove Mop and Glo residue from laminate flooring by using a common household product that cleans naturally and gently.

Step 1

Fill a gallon bucket three-quarters full of hot water.

Step 2

Add 1 cup of white vinegar to the bucket.

Step 3

Dip a mop into the solution. Wring it out and use it to mop the floor. Cover the entire surface of the floor, using circular mopping motions and working from one side of the area to the other.

Step 4

Dry the floor by wiping it with a lint-free cloth.

If the floor still looks dull after mopping, you may need to mop once more with the vinegar and water solution.
