"Hi I'm James with JNC Home Repair and today I'm going to show you how to install interior doors. One thing you need to remember about installing interior doors is it is a little bit easier than installing maybe an exterior door because you don't have to worry about weather stripping. You don't have to worry about cold air or hot air getting in or out. It is basically just a real simple install. Once you have got the hinges and everything mounted on the frame and on the door it is just a matter of taking the door, setting it up on the hinges, and popping the pins in. One of the main reasons you may want to do this is you may be trying to update your bathroom, you may be trying to update the look of the old house, who knows. You may need to pull the door off to, you know you may have pulled the doors off as you did some painting and basically we are going to show you how to install the doors for interior doors only. You'll notice that the hinge on the door has two slots and the hinges on the frame has three slots. You always want to have the hinge with the two slots mounted to the door because that is actually the pivot point and this is the stationary point so you actually want to make sure that you have the two pins mounted on the door itself. Once you have got the hinges mounted on the doors it is just a matter of I always like to stick mine on the bottom first, it is just a little easier to work with. Once you have got the bottom one in then you just slide the top one right into place like so and then it is just a matter of dropping the pins down in place."
