Hi, I'm Tim Gipson. I'm going to talk to you about different types of vinyl siding. Now when we talk about different types of vinyl siding, really the composition is all the same, but it's the style that varies within the vinyl siding. So you could have a very basic vinyl siding that imitates a lap-board, which is very clean lines, and is simply is set up where it overlaps. Then we've got something like this, which actually has a little cove detail here, so you're....so it imitates a board that would be cut with a cove tongue and groove. So, when you look at vinyl siding, you can get various textures as far as wood textures on there. You can different type of shapes and profiles. So, you can achieve some different looks depending on the type of vinyl siding that you choose. And really, determining whether you want to go with something real basic or something extravagant is going to depend on the amount of vinyl siding that you have and also other applications that are around in your neighborhood. And it's usually a good idea to kind of stay, you know, within, you know, a degree of certain norms as far as not using something that's completely unique in style, but not something that is, you know, a cookie-cutter type of profile that you see in your neighborhood. So, when you're looking at the style and the shape and the profile of your vinyl siding, you want to choose something that gives you a little bit of accent, but also blends with the greater community. And again, when you look at just your...choosing your vinyl siding, you know, what you're getting into is really just vinyl siding that mimics different type of natural wood or a metal type of siding. So I'm Tim Gipson, and that's information on choosing vinyl siding.
