"Hi, I'm Bobby on behalf of Expert Village. Everyone loves having a warm fireplace on a cold winter day. The downside to that is you have to clean the fireplace. In this series we are going to tell you how to clean the inside of your fireplace, the chimney and even repaint the inside of your fireplace too make it look new. Okay now I am ready to start removing the ashes from my fireplace and I am using my shovel here. I want to very carefully remove the ashes and just gently dump them into my trash bag. I don't want to drop the rapidly because they are very dusty and if I drop them and remove the ashes too fast, it would create a dust cloud and make a mess inside of my house. So I am just going to be real careful and try not to disturb the ashes too much while I am removing them. Mainly just take your time so you won't make a big mess. It will cost you more time in the long run if you are not careful. And just scoop them on out and continue on until the fireplace is clean. "
