Concert attendees must purchase tickets to gain admittance into an arena or concert hall and to reserve a space or seat at the designated venue. The days of consumers purchasing concert tickets at the base price are quickly becoming obsolete. In addition to the base price, many ticket vendors charge additional facility, convenience and other ticket fees. Some vendors even charge extra fees just to process your order online. There are solutions to this hassle, if you want to reduce or avoid ticket fees.

1. Purchase your tickets directly from the venue's box office, as some companies charge an additional convenience fee when you purchase your tickets online or by phone. It can also help to pay for the tickets with cash since some venues also charge fees if you pay with a debit or credit card.

2. Review the ticket delivery options when purchasing online. Some ticket vendors will mail the tickets to a physical address free of charge, while others will add an extra fee if you print them at home. In some instances, the exact opposite might occur. Read the dealer's terms and conditions carefully, as policies regarding fees vary.

3. Buy your tickets directly from the online vendor. If the ticket dealer offers ticket sales online, check your web browser to make sure that the page does not redirect to an alternate third-party reseller.
