How to Use a Magnavox Blu Ray SD Card Reader

Magnavox makes a line of Blu-ray players that also play standard DVDs. This comes in handy if you have a home media library that consists of both formats. These players also come with an SD (Secure Digital) expansion card slot located on the front of the unit. These slots support memory cards that allow you to store pieces of data from the player.

  • Turn on your Magnavox Blu-ray player and locate the memory card slot. It is the thin horizontal slot directly to the right of the disc tray.

  • Insert an SD card into the slot, making sure the metal connector tabs on the card go in first and are facing up.

  • Push the card into the slot until it locks in place.

  • Use the "SD" button on the remote control to bring up the contents of the SD card. You can now use the directional keys on the remote to scroll through the contents of the card.
