Things You'll Need:
- Muriatic acid
- Grout
- Caulk
- Masonry sealer

Step 1
Clean the shower pan with a mixture of four parts water to one part muratic acid. Rinse thoroughly.

Allow the shower to dry completely. This can take as much as a week.

Check the floor for the source of the leak. If the leak is in the tile grout in the shower pan or around the base of the floor, replace the grout or seal up the cracks with caulk.

Step 4
Apply a coat of masonry sealer to the shower pan, according to the manufacturer's directions. Allow to dry thoroughly. Apply a second coat of the sealer.
