The time has come when you look at your old laminate floor and think, "no more." Well, eHow hears you, and we feel your pain. Rip up that old laminate flooring and start anew. We'll walk you through the process. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Get down on the floor, and cut strips that are 12 inches wide with the razor blade knife. Do this either one strip of the laminate flooring at a time or the whole floor.

    • 2

Wrap the strip of laminate flooring around the PVC pipe, and roll the pipe along the floor, wrapping the strip of laminate flooring around the pipe as you go. Continue the rolling the pipe over until you reach the end of the strip.

    • 3

Pry the strip up with the floor scraper if the laminate flooring will come up easily, then wrap it over the PVC pipe and roll the pipe as before.

    • 4

Spray the area where the laminate flooring has left adhesive behind with dish-washing liquid and warm water. This mixture should loosen the adhesive, allowing you to remove it.

    • 5

Sweep up any remaining debris and finish the floor in the manner you desire, whether it is with other laminate floor, wood flooring, tile or more.
