Keep your luggage secure with a Wordlock padlock.

Wordlock luggage locks use four-letter words instead of numeric codes, making combinations easier to remember. For example Instead of entering a number like "3242" you might enter a word like "BACK" or "BANK" using the lock's four dials. Resetting the combination involves turning the dials to show a particular word, adjusting the shackle and entering a new code. Changing your code ensures anyone that knows your previous code no longer has access to your luggage.

Step 1

Spin the dials so the word "PACK" is spelled out in the viewing window, reading from the top of the lock to the bottom. Pull the shackle upward.

Step 2

Turn the shackle 90 degrees counterclockwise so the notch on the shackle lines up with the groove in the body of the padlock. Push the shackle down.

Step 3

Turn the shackle another 90 degrees counterclockwise so the open end is over the viewing window.

Step 4

Spin the dials to your new word combination. Turn the shackle back clockwise 180 degrees and close it as normal.

Step 5

Scramble the dials and your new code works immediately.

Tip

Write down your combination and store it in a safe place.
