The twin towers of the World Trade Center located in New York City were destroyed on September 11, 2001. The attacks took thousands of lives and left many families and friends without their loved ones, making it a horrific event in the history of the United States. In honor of the sacrifices made on that day, people often look for ways to remember the event and the lives it changed. One can even catch a glimpse of the past with the use of a five-dollar bill.
Lay the bill down flat, with the face side up.
Fold the top half down longways and crease.
Flip the bill over so that the open end faces upward.
Fold the sides of the bill up so that they meet in the middle and form a downward-facing pyramid, much like making the nose on a paper airplane. Crease the folds.
Hold the bill up and observe it. On the bill, there appear to be two towers that resemble the World Trade Center Towers during the 9/11 attack.
