Dress up a plain teapot with a painted pattern.

If you have a ceramic teapot that is more functional than decorative, spruce it up with a little paint. Painting glazed ceramic requires some special paints and techniques to ensure that the paint forms a strong bond with the smooth and slick ceramic surface, but the process is not difficult. Even a novice painter can create a pretty painted teapot that should hold up to regular use and washing.
