Things You'll Need

  • Craft paper

  • Ruler

  • Scissors

  • Craft glue

Crafts are a fun way to spend time with children and paper crafts may be the most affordable of all. It is not necessary to buy special paper if there are scraps around the house or other paper that can be reused. You can create simple shapes, such as a paper fence, with very few supplies.

Step 3

Apply a small amount of glue to one end of a strip of paper and stick it to the back of the first rectangle. Place it about 1/2 an inch from the top of the rectangle. Apply glue to the other end of the strip of paper and glue it to the second rectangle. Glue a second strip about 1/2 an inch from the bottom of both rectangles.

Step 4

Repeat step 4 to connect the remaining rectangles and strips. Cut as many rectangles and strips as you wish for a longer fence.
