OxiClean is an alkaline-based cleaning product that reacts with oxygen to dissolve dirt and grime. When formed into a paste, OxiClean can be applied to floor grout (the grooves in between the tiles) to remove compacted dirt, mold, mildew and grime. The manufacturer recommends applying the product to the problem areas and letting it set overnight for best results. An old toothbrush is useful for scrubbing deep into the grout for a good cleaning.
