How To Remove Energy Drink Stains

While energy drinks can be good for you, particularly when you are exercising or performing athletic activity, the colored liquid can leave a troublesome stain on a white top, gym bag, or lightly colored carpet or oriental rug. With the right ingredients, energy drink stain removal is a simple process that involves a few inexpensive household items.

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • Bowl
  • Clean sponge
  • Dry towel

Video of the Day

Fill an empty, clean bowl with 1/2 cup club soda.

Dip a clean sponge directly into the club soda so that the liquid is absorbed into the sponge. Squeeze the sponge to remove any excess liquid.

Gently rub the stain in a circular clockwise motion with the club-soda-soaked sponge. After one minute of rubbing, dip the sponge into the club soda liquid bowl and give the sponge a good squeeze.

Continue the process of rubbing the stain with the club soda until the stain has been satisfactorily removed.

Pat the stain with a dry, clean towel to remove excess liquid from the stain.

Leave the stained article to dry for 15 minutes before use.
