Video of the Day
Step 1: Create the Cake Mixture.
Bake the cake following the specific recipe you are using and let it cool completely.

Step 2: Crumble the Cake
Once the cake has cooled, using a fork or your hands, crumble the cake into rough chunks in a large bowl to break it down.

Step 3: Add the Graham Cracker Crumbs
Mix in 1/2 cup of the graham cracker crumbs and set the mixture aside.

Step 4: Make the Marshmallow Cream
In a medium bowl, use a fork to gently combine the butter and cream cheese until well combined. Add the confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract then set aside.

Step 5: Broil the Marshmallows.
Turn on your oven's grill or broiler. Place the marshmallows in an even layer on a lined baking tray, and then place it under the heat. Broil the marshmallows until they are warm and gooey.

Step 6: Add the Marshmallows to the Cream Cheese Mixture
Using a spatula, immediately scrape the hot marshmallows into the cream cheese bowl and stir well to combine.

Step 7: Add the Wet Ingredients to the Dry Ingredients
Gently stir the cream cheese mixture into the cake mixture and stir to combine until you can form a dough that holds it's shape. Add the Kahlua, if using, during this step as you combine the ingredients.

Step 8: Roll the Balls
Roll the dough into 1 tablespoon sized balls and then place them on a baking parchment lined sheet.

Step 9: Melt the Chocolate
Melt the dark chocolate in a large and deep heat-proof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Once melted, remove from the heat.

Step 10: Dip the Balls Into the Chocolate
Place a cake ball into the melted chocolate and use a spoon or wooden skewer to rotate it around to cover completely. Tap off the excess and return to the baking sheet. Repeat with remaining cake balls.

Step 11: Garnish
Whilst the chocolate is still warm and smooth, sprinkle with the remaining graham cracker crumbs and a bit of flaky sea salt. Let them chill in the refrigerator of freezer until set.

Step 12: Serve
Once fully chilled, your s'mores cake balls are ready to be served.

Alternatively, you can also serve them on skewers as "s'mores cake pops"!

Tip
-
