A corner Lazy Susan cabinet adds comfort and convenience to your kitchen. Whether you are building a new home or remodeling an existing one, you need to take proper measurements to ensure that your cabinets fit properly. You can measure for a corner Lazy Susan cabinet with just a few basic items.
Things You'll Need
- Measuring tape
Measure the height of your existing base cabinets. Write down your measurement. Many typical base cabinets are 34 1/2 inches high, without the counter top. The corner Lazy Susan cabinet must match this height.
Measure from the corner of the wall to the outside edge of the base cabinet on the right side of the corner cabinet. Use a tape measure to get an accurate measurement of the distance. Measure from the corner of the wall to the outside edge of the cabinet on the left side of the corner cabinet. Write down your measurements.
Measure from the corner of the wall to the inside center point of the Lazy Susan door frame. Write down your measurement. Your Lazy Susan turntable is located at the center point of this measurement.
Select a turntable that will fit within your cabinet. Typical 36-inch Lazy Susan corner cabinets use an 18-inch turntable.
