How to make a hug pop-up card. That's what we are going to do today. My name is Dana Johnson and I'm going to start out with some construction paper and a blank greeting card. Okay so you have your cut out here. Just need to put some little tiny folds and add some glue so you can get your little face to adhere. But also you want to put a fold down the center of your picture so it will pop out Go ahead and apply it to the top of your greeting card. So the motion you want to see is just to open your card and you can see how the little head just pops up. I've already just traced out here a long, almost 10 inches strip for the arm length. I'm just going to cut here a bit in between the fingers. And this is something so easy.The children can do this as well. And it's very simple. Just start doing a zig zag fold for your pop up arm. And you take the back piece and you just glue it down using a simple glue stick or all purpose glue. Lo and behold you have yourselves a pop out hug card.
