Hello this is Marcus Meyer with Gator Cleaning Solutions on how to clean a nail polish stain from the carpet. You want to start by creating a solution. It is very important to remember to use a non-acetone based fingernail polish remover. Use one tablespoon to one cup of water. You want to spray that solution directly to your rag and blot gently from the outside in to prevent spreading the stain. After this, you will take a fresh bottle of water, spray directly onto the spot and again blot gently from the outside in repeating that method until the stain is removed. Again this is Marcus with Gator Cleaning Solutions on how to remove fingernail polish stain from the carpet.
