Wendy's is an American fast food chain founded in 1969 and based in Ohio. Since the opening of the first store several decades ago, it has expanded to over 6,000 locations around the world. The restaurant serves burgers, chili, French fries, desserts, and soft drinks, among other things. Among its numerous menu items is the double cheeseburger, officially called the Wendy's Double Stack. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Hamburger Patties

    • Two ground beef junior hamburger patties, seasoned with salt, make up the main ingredient of the Double Stack.

    Cheese

    • Double Stacks are made with a single slice of American cheese. The burger also includes 1/2 oz. of cheese sauce, primarily composed of water and cheddar cheese.

    Vegetables

    • The Double Stack has several vegetables for added flavor. These include two pickles, a tomato slice, lettuce and onions.

    Condiments

    • The double cheeseburger is topped with mayonnaise, ketchup, honey mustard sauce and mustard.

    Sandwich Bun

    • The Double Stack comes between a sandwich bun. The bun is composed primarily of enriched wheat flour, along with barley flour, riboflavin, high fructose corn syrup, vegetable oil and other ingredients.

    • The Double Stack weighs 140 g. It has 360 calories, 18 g of fat, 760 mm of sodium and 23 g of protein. It has 1 g of dietary fiber, 6 g of sugar, and 26 g of carbohydrates.
