Fun Baby Shower Games for Couples
Although baby showers are traditionally a women-only event, throwing a coed shower is becoming more popular, causing some adjustments to be made in the party planning. Don't decorate with all pink and lace; use more neutral colors. If you're inviting several couples to the baby shower, select games where couples can compete with other couples or in girls vs. guys competitions in humorous, baby-related events. Does this Spark an idea?

Diaper the Baby Relay
-
For this game, divide the men and women into separate teams. The couples will compete against each other to diaper a doll baby the fastest. Each player will be blindfolded as he diapers the doll. Whoever gets the diaper on properly the fastest wins one point for her team. The team with the most points after all the couples have competed against each other wins.
Feed Your Partner
-
Have all the guys wear bibs. The women must feed their "big baby" partners a whole jar of applesauce, about 24 ounces. The first team to finish the applesauce wins. Spread trash bags on the floor for this game because it can get messy. For a harder challenge, give the couples 46-ounce jars of applesauce; once the guy has completed his jar, he must switch places with his partner and feed her a full jar of applesauce before they can win.

Baby Clay Charades
-
For this men vs. women game, one person on the first team selects a card with a baby item listed on it and must get the rest of his team to guess what the baby item is using children's clay. The person has one minute to get his team to figure it out while the opposite team handles the timer. If the team guesses correctly and there is still time left on the timer, its members can select another card and get the team to guess that one as well. Teams get one point for every correct guess. Then the second team takes its turn. The first team that gets 10 points wins the game.
Baby Questions
-
For this game, give each person a small dry erase board and marker. Call out a question related to babies or children. Each person must write down an answer. If a couple's answers match, they win a point. For instance, if you ask, "how many children do you plan to have?," each person writes down an answer and hides it from her partner until you say "reveal." This game usually sparks much consternation and laughter between the couples. The first team to reach five points wins the game.
