Romantic Simple Things to Do for Your Boyfriend

You can make romance a priority your relationship by showing your boyfriend how much you love and desire him. Do simple things that will bring out the passion and romance you share and will create wonderful memories. You don't have to spend a fortune on romance or even be the most creative person in the world. There are plenty of opportunities around you and simple things you can do to create romance and keep the passion alive.

Picnic

A romantic meal doesn't have to take place in a fancy, expensive restaurant. You can create the romance yourself on a romantic picnic at a local park or the beach. Pack your boyfriend's favorite food and drinks. Don't forget to add a tempting sweet to please his taste buds. Relax in each other's arms as you take a break from the cares of the world. If you choose, go later in the day and enjoy the sunset.

Massage

Pamper your boyfriend in a romantic way. For instance, soothe your boyfriend's sore muscles with a massage. Add to the romantic atmosphere with simple touches, such as wearing your sexiest dress or lingerie and turning on music. Use scented candles in place of your regular lights. Don't forget to pour your boyfriend's favorite cocktail and use a scented massage oil as you soothe his tired muscles.

Write a Love Letter or Poem

Exercise the creative side that lies within you. Compose a letter stating how much you love your boyfriend; write about the ways he makes you smile or the happiness you feel lying in his arms. Alternatively, write a poem expressing the love you feel each day having him in your life. You can be as romantic as you choose. Place the letter or poem under his pillow so that he receives a romantic surprise at bedtime.

Little Gestures or Surprises

You don't need a huge gesture to create romance. Sometimes, the little things you do mean more than anything. For instance, make your boyfriend breakfast and serve him in bed. Cut the toast in the shape of a heart. Alternatively, write "I love you," on the bathroom mirror for a romantic surprise in the morning. You can even do something simple such as placing your picture in his briefcase with a note that says, "I love you."
