1
Find an oversized t-shirt that falls just above your knees when you wear it. The color you choose is up to you, but common colors for elves would include green and red. Lay the shirt out on a flat surface.
-
2
Cut the neck off the t-shirt and cut a notch so it has a v-neck. Cut the sleeves off so the dress is sleeveless.
-
-
3
Create a jagged hem along the bottom edge of the t-shirt. Do this by cutting v-shaped notches all the way around the bottom hem line.
-
4
Cut three evenly sized white circles about three inches in diameter from your white felt. Position them evenly spaced in a vertical line to the front of your t-shirt and adhere them with fabric glue. They are meant to look like oversized buttons.
-
5
Put the t-shirt on over a matching turtleneck and tights. Cinch the waist of the elf dress with a wide-width black belt.
