Silicone wristbands come in all colors, sizes and messages. Carrying political slogans, religious sayings or corporate advertisements, silicone wristbands act as cheap and effective public displays. But these printed messages don't have to stay on permanently. All you need is a little isopropyl alcohol, better known as rubbing alcohol, to dissolve the ink and remove the print from your silicone wristbands.

Things You'll Need

  • Cup
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Cloth rag

Fill a small cup with rubbing alcohol about a quarter of the way.

Dip a clean rag into the cup to wet it with the alcohol.

Apply the rag to the print on the silicone wristband. Rub back and forth, using moderate pressure until the text disappears. This may take several minutes.

Rinse the rubbing alcohol off the rag and silicone wristband with water.
