How to Make "Star Wars" Face Makeup

Enhance any costume with face makeup and face paint. Making your own face makeup will help you control what types of substances you put on your skin. This can help you avoid chemicals that you know are harmful to your skin type. Use different colors to make Star Wars face paint. Make black and red face makeup for a Darth Maul costume; black paint for a Darth Vadar costume; brown paint for a Chewbacca costume; or green paint for a Yoda costume.

Things You'll Need

• Cornstarch
• Cold cream
• Food coloring
• Paintbrush

Instructions

1. Mix 2 tbsp. water with 4 tbsp. cornstarch until the cornstarch dissolves completely and doesn't have any lumps.

2. Mix 2 tbsp. cold cream with the cornstarch solution. Mix until the solution is smooth.

3. Add 12 to 15 drops food coloring into the face paint solution. Mix until the solution is completely smooth and the color is even.

4. Apply the solution to your face with a small paintbrush.

• Store the face paint in an airtight container.

• Wash the solution off with soap and water.
