How to Get Wishes to Come True on a Wish List
Everyone knows what it's like to want something so bad it aches. Whether it's a new car, a secure place to sleep, a great relationship or internal peace desire is a human imperative that we all face. The things we wish for are a reflection of our cultural values and orientations and the road to achieving our desires are addressed in all of the world's religions and spiritual traditions. But you don't have to be religious to understand what is sometimes called the "law of attraction." All you need is the willingness to believe in what is possible.

1
Know what you want. Everything that exists in the world begins with a thought. Be clear and precise about what you want and consider the ramifications of getting it. How will it affect others? How will it benefit you? How will it be a detriment to you? Make a list in order of importance to clarify your thinking.

2
Assess your mental process. Manifesting your desires depends on your thinking process and your primary orientations. We all have a running internal dialogue operating in the background that will either hinder us or empower us and it is ultimately a choice. The more negative our thought process is the more limited we will be. On the other hand, the more positively we view the world the more empowered we will be.

3
Change your mental orientation if you are inherently more negative than positive. Negative energy is energy blockage. When energy is blocked creativity is blocked. Making your wishes come true is all about allowing the free flow of creative energy and believing you can achieve what you want.
-
4
Visualize clearly what you want. Nothing can exist without first existing as a thought. This includes imagining how it feels to have the things you desire. If you want a more fulfilling job or career create a mental picture of yourself doing what you most love to do and the joy you would feel doing it. If is being free of an addiction imagine how wonderful it would feel to be mentally clear and physically healthy. Visualizing also involves asking. This can take the form of prayer to whatever God, deity, or higher power you believe in.
-
5
Affirm what you already have by being grateful instead of focusing on what you don't have. All religions and spiritual traditions in the world share this one philosophy regardless of other dogma and doctrine. Practicing gratitude is a very powerful form of the kind of positivity that leads to manifestation.
